Farm Tour - Oh Chin Huat Hydoponics Farm

Ever wonder how vegetables are grown before reaching your favorite super market? Come join the guided vegetable tour!

Learn how the various stages of how your favorite vegetables are grown. The processes in general are seeding, nursery stage, sorting stage, adult stage, harvesting stage and lastly packaging stage. In this guided tour, you will learn the details of the above-mentioned stages.

In additional, visit the cold room at 0 to 4 degree Celsius and see how the farm produces are stored. Also see how onions are sorted base on quality and size.

At the end of the guided tour, learn how to grow your own plants using the hydroponics method followed by a simple question and answer session, those who got the answer right will walk away with some potted plants!

Before leaving the farm, pay a visit to their shop and buy some fresh produce, compost, gardening equipment, etc.

This tour will be classified as part of farm tour and educational tour.

It is conducted at least in English...they do Mandarin too.

Yes, you have to do a booking first...but they do entertain wait in visitors, sometimes. Just go and try your luck!

I think this is a great blog to introduce interesting places in Singapore to visitors as well as locals. Really enjoyed reading the blog,
