Haw Par Villa is a rich legacy left behind by Haw Par brothers who are the inventor of tiger balm. It is a story of how Burma residents were able to build an empire in Malaysia, Singapore and Burma through hard work and sheer ingenuity in sales and marketing.
Being Chinese, the brothers also include many statues that represent colourful characters found in stories passed down from one generation to another.
Other must see includes the 10 level of hell that sinners will have to go as stated under Taoist religion.
The park allows other culture to have an greater awareness of the Chinese culture, while at the same time bring to life many characters that we have heard since young from our parents.
The entrance to the park is free, however it cost about $1 to enter the 10 levels of hell....even hell is not free!
Haw Par Villa is categorised as part of educational tours
